The Argentine magazine LatinSpots has just published the fourth edition of its ranking with the 20 best Iberian-American agencies. AlmapBBDO, for the fourth consecutive year, ranks first. To establish the ranking, the magazine assessed the performance of all the agencies in the region in the main advertising festivals in the world throughout 2008. JWT Spain ranks second, followed by Y&R Argentina. In 4th place is Pagés BBDO, and in 5th, Ogilvy & Mather Argentina. Among the 15 best agencies, there also are the Brazilian DDB Brazil (17th), Leo Burnett Brazil (18th) and JWT Brazil (20th).
In 2008, the magazine reports, the concepts that stood out in Iberian-American advertising were integration, as a work method, and the idea, as the main advertising tool.
LatinSpots also assessed the performance of the best producers, and from the 15 companies ranked, 12 are Argentine. Ranking first is Rebolucion Argentina, which produced the commercial Fish-Dog, created by AlmapBBDO for the SpaceFox from Volkswagen. The runner-up is Landia Argentina, and coming in third is Argentinacine. In 4th is Nunchaku Cine Argentina, and in 5th, Palermo Films Argentina. Only three Spanish producers were able to rank among the best: Lee Films Spain, in 7th; Garlic Films in 13th and Wind Producciones in 14th.
